The European Sambo Championship will bring together in Ekaterinburg athletes from 37 countries . In total, more than 500 delegates will take part in competitions.
Recently, Alexei Orlov, the first deputy of the head of the region, hold a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and staging of the European Championship. Members of the Organizing Committee discussed security issues, medical support, as well as measures for attracting fans, including those from the foreign countries. It is known that Organizing Committe is going to publish sightseeing guide booklets for the audience. In addition, the championship will be featured in the region's event calendar for 2020.
The account of the competition has already been created on Instagram. The Department of Information Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region reports that about 150 volunteers will be involved in coordination of the event.
The European Sambo Championship will be held in the Ural capital on May 22-24, 2020.
